Danish Freestyle Championship

From March 19 to 26 Tignes was invaded by the Danish elite freestyle skiers - competing in slopestyle, halfpipe and Big Air.

BURN was on the spot to keep people pumped, as the death-defying athletes threw themselves out on the recently-used X-Games course. In the men's Slopestyle, Burn-sponsored rider Hans-Jakob Brandt took home the gold second time in a row, while Dennis Hannesbo took the title in Halfpipe and Rasmus Dalberg Jørgensen took the Big-Air title. Other Burn Nordic riders such as Rasmus Faber, Lasse Dam Rasmussen, Rasmus Liesk and Rasmus Eilertsen took 9th (Slopestyle), 6th (Big Air), 8th (Big Air) and 7th (Slopestyle) respectively.

But it was not all fun and X-games. There were some serious parties as well. Spearheaded by Danish DJ duo Fagget Faries and legendary hip-hop group Malk De Koijn, the afterparties were sent through the roof. Definetely one of the best championships ever. See you all next year!
